Steen and I started the making of this video last year. The nights were long, cold and hard. Fighting the urge to quit for the night and go and party with our friends who were a few street away was also a hard temptation to resist, but some how we managed too.
All I can say about this video is I’m proud of it… at LOT of blood, sweat and yes actual tears (from me) went into this Video. I tried really hard to capture this massive project and condense it into just over 4 minutes… so I hope I managed to do some justice to the AMAZING job that Steen did on this wall at the Rose Street Artist Markets.
Trying to keep this short and sweet, I guess it goes without saying how proud I am of Steen too, but i really feel like i need to add it in… He is doing incredible things and I really want to add that you need to watch his space. Exciting projects are coming up which we both cannot wait to share with you. Please keep an eye out for the latest Tattoo’s Downunder Magazine which will be hitting the stores this week too! Theres a big feature piece on Steen’s work and my photos got published (yay)
Anyway, I hope you like it <3
If you’re feeling it please share it around.

So it seems like a life time ago since Sydney, I’ve been so busy in-between but I’ve finally finished Part 2 – the best part. Featuring the talented Joel Birch from The Amity Affliction and my talented boy Steen Jones. Thank you to both of you :)
Back in February, Joel was kind enough to let me do a little something something on his wall inside the Monster Energy Indoor Skatepark in Sydney early morning before they filmed their Youngbloods video clip. Joels general efficiency and the bank I was working was real slippery which stressed me a fair ammount to begin with but after a while it was real fun and the time flew.
Much love to Joel for the opportunity and Melissa for putting this all together for us. Please re-blog it for her!
Melissa’s first video attempt and it turned out dope… real proud. My first video… ‘Sydney in 96 hours. Part 1. Feb 2011.’
Thank you to Steen Jones, A.A & Calvin, Joel Birch, The Amity Affliction, Mark Lonsdale of Kaleidoscope tattoo, FIVE SIX SEVEN… without you it wouldn’t have been as fun or possible.
Part 2 dropping soon…
